ANOTHER SILVER QUAICH

Tain Through Time

In May of 2000, Estelle Quick, curator of the Tain and District Museum, requested some information about the story of The Silver Quaich handed down through the generations from Alexander Ross. She commented, it "looks very similar to the one in Inverness Museum (and very well used!). She identified the silversmith, Robert Innes of Tain, immediately, and she sent copies of photographs showing the markings and the quaich.
