Ken McGoogan's talk at the Oor Club involved his recent book, Flight of the Highlanders - The Making of Canada, which he introduced with an Immortal Memory which he had recently delivered at the St. Andrew's Society in Toronto. This tied in with the theme of the common people and the unbreakable Scots of the Selkirk Settlements.
