Do you know what the longest word in the English language is? Keep reading.

What do I do when the flash fails to work when I take an indoor picture? Most times I just smile, because it is a total waste of time if I get upset.

Occasionally a picture is blurry because I had a "senior moment" when I clicked the button too hastily on my Canon Digital Elph camera. It's time for another smile, folks.

Maybe there was an empty seat at a table when I stopped for a candid shot or an unavoidable change in scheduling made it impossible for me to take the photograph which I wanted. Life is too short to become flustered about little things. It's amazing what a smile can do to cure high blood pressure.

Aye. This is all about "smiles". It is the longest word in our language because there is a mile between the first "s" and the final "s". I wonder what Rabbi Burns would say about our happy celebration of the 253rd anniversary of his birthday.

May I offer a Red, Red Rose to all who contributed to our enjoyment by sharing their photographs with us.
