TOUR OF UPPER HOUSES
Although there was some mix-up with the scheduling, some tours eventually started out from the Goldring Student Centre. I was promised that there will be a single co-ordinator for planning when the Burwash Bicentennial Reunion occurs. Plaques recognizing contributors to the renovation of the residences were in sad condition; the one inside the Middle House entrance serves as an example of how time has passed since it was placed there. A photo of the South House common room displays a considerable amount of space; it must be the envy of someone living in Middle House.
RECEPTION
Some samples of the displays in the coffee shop included early group photos in front of Middle House (1923 and 1934) and construction work at Burwash Hall. I have also included pictures which I took of the spiral staircase, the west entrance to the coffee shop, and a photo from the patio towards Vic.
DINNER
Dinner began at 7:00 pm and dessert was served around 9:30 pm. Individuals representing the decades took turns between the courses in describing their experiences at Victoria College and talking about life in Burwash. The WWII propeller now hangs in the renovated entrance to Burwash Hall.
