ANOTHER MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY

CAT, alias "Speck", a blue cream part Siamese, became a member of our family sometime around 1990, when Jenn decided to move from temporary lodgings at The Opera House on Queen Street East in Toronto. When CAT wasn't napping, her favourite tricks were the "ambush and ankle whap" from a hiding place in the upper hall . . . or "tug at the zipper on the suitcase" until it opened. She was an indoor cat, but enjoyed fresh catnip or grass in the back yard as well as a short climb up the honey locust tree. CAT remained at her "new" home after Jenn moved to Boulder, Colorado.

CAT suddenly developed severe renal failure in November of 2004, and the Seneca Animal Clinic provided feline euthanasia after 5:00 PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2004. Jenn arrived from Boulder in time to be with us.
